Fathering the Fatherless

I joint this foster parent organization in Church, They have this
program called ‘Fathering the Fatherless’, I can be a part of blessing
for other by financially support the un-capable children.
So that we were –me and my fiancé-, choosing up a photo to be
supported, my girlfriend prefers younger kids, but I prefer other race
kids, we finally made an option:
His name is Christian, 14 years old; he looks like someone from Timor /
‘African’, looks tough but still young and naïve. He has 12
siblings, wow….. Lots of production hehhehe
Later I found out that he has the same birthday like my mom, May 11.
This is easier for me to remember his birthday :-)

As for my dream,
I wonder if I still have the chance to go to France for language study,
I doubt it for now, but hopefully later on I can go there. For my OCAC friends, any plan to come Indonesia? At least yall can start saving until next
year to come to my wedding....

Remember my time in Taiwan, I went to this mountain top early in the morning, slept at 2.30, woke up at 4 AM, It is a very d*mn cold for the people of my country. I have no idea whether this picture is real or have been modified, but I personally think its not funny at all. Some friends can actually laugh or smile, but please try to think in contrary.

Last Sunday, went to a sunday service, the preacher is American, as for the congregation is so colorful, some Chinese, Javanese, Caucasian, African, Phillipinos, and many other.
Remembered jokes that been shared:
- She's too blond to understand that no need to put a stamp on fax
- She's too blond to understand that no need to lipstick her cheeck trying to make up her mind
- She's too blond to understand that the smartest blond called Golden Retriever

U think its funny ? Again, I don't think so, try to think in contrary.

Wanna Have Baby Like Her.......

Me and Adel always so amazed with her, she looks so beautiful.... wish I can produce babies that stereotype, then again I don't think it's easy to against genetical things such as:

Small eyes and Piggy nose. My Ancestors gave it to me, but will try my best to get something like the photo :)

Many of my friends startin to work, some tryin another job/industry, some share how tough the workin environment is, some just don't give a shoot to it's job.... Well let's read a story why this man fired his secretary, enjoy it.

' Two weeks ago was my 45th birthday and I wasn't feeling too good that
morning. I went to breakfast knowing my wife would be pleasant and say,
"Happy Birthday!", and probably would have a present for me. As it turned
out, she didn't even say good morning, let alone any happy birthday. I
thought, well, that's wives for you, the children will remember.

The kids came to breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the
office, I was feeling pretty low and despondent. As I walked into my office,
my secretary, Janet, said, "Good morning, Boss. Happy Birthday." And I felt
a little better that someone had remembered.

I worked until noon, then Janet knocked on my door and said, "You know, it's
such a beautiful day outside, and it's your birthday, let's go to lunch,
just you and me." I said, "Well, that's the best thing I've heard all day.
Let's go!"

We went to lunch. We didn't go where we normally go; instead we went out to
a private little place. We had two martinis and enjoyed lunch tremendously.
On the way back to the office, she said, "You know, it's such a beautiful
day, we don't need to go back to the office, do we?" I said, "No, I guess
not." She said, "Let's stop by my apartment."

After arriving at her apartment she said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I think

I miss Chiang Kai Sek Memorial Hall, A place where you can feel Patriotic and Romantic in some way, along with King Cole music on the back ground...

- KOREAN BBQ in ShiDa Night Market
- Fan Tuan (Taiwanese breakfast kinna type / Some meat covered by Rice)
- 150 NT for a small portion of Indian Curry at ShiDa Night Market
- The Smell of Jou TouFu (Smelly Tofu)
- Din Dai Fung (The Best Food in Taiwan but a little bit of expensive)
- MangGuo Bing (Mango Ice) Unbelieveable delicious
- Sushi Express on Yong Gang Jie (Have to fight with my roommates 2 go here)
- Vietnam Noodle Shop on Yong Gang Jie ( Wonderful park near there )

Watched PhoneBooth (Click on the title for more information), a short duration of thriller movie, personal opinion is 'I love this movie'. Makes me think bout the things that we have probably did in the past or still doing.

Recommend to see the movie.

Here's some comment I got from amazon: -they can explain better than I do-

' Main character Stu (Colin Farrell at his best performance) is one of this fake New Yorkers: some publicist, dressed in a fake coat of bogus fame and unexciting BIG contacts. He stops by at the phone booth to make his regular call to another women, the one which doesn't know that he is married... As soon as he hangs up? A phone call... A phone call for him... A phone call by a sniper. He has to play by the sniper's rules, or someone will die.A thriller? An action? A psychological drama? I would say all of it at the same time... but much more. Did I want to know what will happen next? Yes! Did this film make me think? Yes!
From my point of view, this film mostly about art of listening. We often prejudge situations and people. But we forget to listen, to understand and hear the meaning of simple clues which might save our own life. And Forest Whitaker as Captain Ramey did this part very well.On the other hand it gives us a slight idea how one second can change our life forever. And it does every single day.The ending made me disappointed but I can't give this film less than A- grade. I've seen better, but not as many as you might think.

"Don't judge a book by its cover" you've probably heard it thousands time, but have u ever seriously think about it. I believe many of us think that way, how he/she looks, what is his cell phone/pda, vehicle, how big is the jewelry, etc. Don't you sick of it.

"An environment where there’s less of an overt embrace of materialism… and that tremendous sense of entitlement" is what we need.

As of me, I'm startin this wonderful and seems short term promising carreer, work 8 to 5. Hopefully can get my self more independent. When i was on my motorcycle trying to get myself home the other day, Read a folk song lyrics on someone's shirt. What got to my attention is this little but powerful words "A Slave to our tittle".

Are we really happy with what we have now, do we have any other plan for the future or just hoping that this company will give us better future as we grow old. lots of things got on my mind, went back under the rain, in cold and rainy season.

Bout the Tsunami, I'm very sorry for the victims and their family, click on the title for further information bout tsunami (in English of course, not Waikiki language)

but here's some suggestion that got my attention me:

Religion cannot provide an explanation for the tsunami, and while prayer for the victims may comfort those who pray, it will not provide practical help to the people whose lives have been devastated by this appalling disaster. Science can explain earthquakes and tsunamis, even if we are still unable to predict where and when they will happen. Our response to this and other disasters, as compassionate human beings and regardless of our religious or non-religious beliefs, must be to provide whatever help we can.

Faith in god does not protect people from disasters or give the victims what they need to survive and rebuild their lives. We need to accept responsibility for our fellow human beings. We need to put our efforts into practical ways of preventing disasters when we can, preparing for disasters that cannot be prevented, including investing in early warning systems for tsunamis, and helping those affected by disasters. We cannot rely on any god to solve the world's problems. We - the people of the world - are humanity's only hope.

Read some Nietzsche in my spare time, always curious what’s on his mind, what is he thinking? What makes him like that? Is all comes from asceticism? I believe no modern philosopher has been more completely misquoted and misrepresented. His utterance ‘God is dead’. His insistence that the meaning of life is to be found in purely human terms, and his doctrine of the superman and the will to power were all later seized upon and unrecognizably twisted by, among others, Nazi intellectuals.

Nietzsche loathed mediocrity; his chief purpose in writing was to restore the quality of any individual’s life. His ideas are often harsh and uncompromising, but rarely in negative intent, I guess....

Some of his writing in Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Prologue:

"Behold, I bring you the Superman! The Superman is the meaning of the earth.

Let your will say: The Superman shall be the meaning of the earth! I beg of you my brothers, remain true to the earth, and believe not those who speak to you of otherworldly hopes! Has been a month back in my hometown, nothing much to do, lots of public holidays makes me stuck at home and traffic jam that makes my time worthless, what can u do with it? It was like that before, why I have to complaint a lot. Why?

1st day home

My first morning in my hometown, try to adapt the temperature here, went to campus for graduation preparation. Driving alone with heavy and messy traffic makes me keen on some detail during the traffic jam. Listen to a bad radio player (I sell my car audio set before my I went for school) it was 20th something of the Moslem holy month[I'm not moslem :)] as my country were known as a religious country, the atmosphere were very interesting. Lots of commercial advertisements were changed to a social advice announcement of forgiveness during the holy month. I felt so happy and peaceful, I wish it can work 365 days in a year, out of nothing, I felt so blessed, cause these feeling and atmosphere probably won’t happened abroad.

Had my earthquake again...

Today before lunch, I was in my room 809(8th floor), trying to lie down for push up -after felt that I need a good shape to go back home, I wanna be sexy and cute for you, honey- I felt dizzy.... Oh my Gosh, I said, I haven't start my exercise, I'm so weak :) Saw lot of people running towards the stairs. I notice this is an extra ordinary earthquake. Try to stand still, but this building shakin d*mn hard, I'm speechless, Don't have enough time to run to the first floor I guess. So I just wondered, God priceless moment sayin Hi to all of us, or this globe is makin her notice again.

The earthquake measured 7 on the Richter scale, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau. Heard it was the strongest earthquake to hit Taiwan since 1999, when a tremblor measuring 7.6 killed more than 2,300 people. but funny thing is this was Taiwan's fourth earthquake this month, none of them causing any damage.

Marks the beginning of the Islamic Holy month of Ramadhan, For my moslem brother and sister all over the world, wanna wish you guys a wonderful 30 days odyssey in this fasting time, wish all the temptation has been taken away from you, for you will be a stronger, a more sensitive, and comes out as a winner in this life of pressure. Reminding how Moslem people are stressed lately after the 9/11 incident and Al-Queda problems. For I believe, in every time of life we live, God/Allah always have a great plan for all of us. Keep The Faith !! :)

Fasting serves many purposes. While people are hungry and thirsty, Muslims are reminded of the suffering of the poor. Fasting is also an opportunity to practice self-control and to cleanse the body and mind. And in this most sacred month, fasting helps Muslims feel the peace that comes from spiritual devotion as well as kinship with fellow believers.

In one of St. Peter's priceless advice: "There are three things, my brethren, which causes faith to stand firm, devotion to remain constant and virtue to endure. They are prayer, fasting and mercy. Prayer knocks at the door, fasting obtains and mercy receives. Prayer, mercy and fasting are one. They give life to each other."

This is all the member of OCAC- Shi Da Sept 2004, pic was taken in Dan Shui which means Bland Water. It was raining that day so we canceled our trip to Bali Island. (Remember this island compare to the real Bali Island in Indonesia are totally different - well at least, people speak Chinese here) not many people joined this term, less english speakin people, Indonesian and Thai language is heard everyday.
Some people come here to study and some to play, about everything, it's all coming back to our own motivation to come :) Enjoy Life as young as you can be but remember to enjoy it the time after.

Mount Yang Ming

This is our trip to the famous Mount Yan Ming which means Shining Sun, we can find lots of naturally made hole filled by boilin sulfur water, there was warm fumes plus cold air - As you can see the smoke behind the pic-, wonderful blend of nature. From here we are able to capture the whole Taipei city, it was facinating, interesting and romantic place to be especially in night time. Recommended for people whom like to enjoy scenery and landscape.

Maybe we've heard this line so many times such as cars, money, power, sex, love in many ways people don't like to set their limit on it. We're a rebellist mamals :) but then have we ever think bout somethin really is no boundary in this life that we might gain. I remembered to one story, enclosed here :

My opinion, sport, art and music have no boundaries, whole world will give the same standard even though we might speak a whole different language, life standards, custom, etc. Appreciation was given by International standard comparison. But can money, economics, politics make the idiom of all Master Piece and Unique style for those talent. All of those aren't compared with our own culture and language, our own closed nevironment where it often disguise our opinion about everything.

I hope i have the talent to start with some of that, I was raised with less art appreciation, less sport desire, tone deaf naturally comes to be my blessing :) Work and gets all the money we can have to guarantee our better future was all that matters. I do also have to admit that some sports and art are not well appreciated as they should be in my country. All that experience really close my eyes, influence my opinion, disguise my decision of wonderful short life. I'm losin my sense to somethin that we can called true happiness, everlastin gift. Who should be blame? .... HAHAHAHA.... Start to change your apprecitation, change ur life... we'll never be to old for some good headed changes.
